I am looking to either run or join a 4E D&D game. I've found a lot of exciting examples of 4E's diversity, and I want to give the system a whirl.
I don't really have a preference on the combat/roleplay issue. The best combat is roleplayed anyways. You always have creative options.
I know two people who would play, if I ran a game, and am looking for more, or someone who would run a game for us. I don't have the most GMing experience, but I have been playing around with the tools some and I think I could make something fun.
The game world I am imagining has some Alexandraerin knockoff concepts, basically Science Doesn't Work here because if you poke too hard at the universe trying to figure it at all out it might poke back, and There Are Just Some Places Mortals Shouldn't Go, in the form of magical places that resonate with different forms of energy (holy, natural, infernal, and a whole mess of things in between)

About Me
Biography:
I have played for most of my life, on and off, the most memorable 1 and 1/4 years of which were with the same DM during weekly sessions. We generally played games that emphasized the versatility and uniqueness of each character and how they interact as individuals and in a team. Typically, the best players to have a good time with for me are always those who not only enjoy the story, but also enjoy goofing off during sessions if the mood calls for it. As far as DMs go, I'd prefer those who aren't afraid to kill off players, but who don't enjoy doing it and will only do so if the player deserves it for their actions, and DMs who will stick to the rules and stories they put into play, even if the players throw them a curve ball.
