What are you looking for?
I am currently running a 4e fantasy in the 'Points of Light' setting, but there has been some discussion in the group as to whether we want to transition to an Amethyst: Foundations game. Ideally I'm looking for someone who would start as a player and occasionally spotlight as a DM to give me a break. Our group has atrophied from 6 players to 3 because of life pressures and I'm trying to inject some new life into it. We have a might of high energy, enthusiastic players and quiet thinkers, but everyone gets invested in their character and the game. We have very little rules lawyering since we use (un)common sense during our games. I also run an online 4e game using Google Docs and ventrillo, or webex as virtual tabletops.
Additionally I'd like to find a game to be a player in that's using the Savage Worlds system. I'm new to it, but really like the mechanics. I'm open to any of the settings, with non-pulp being preferred. I prefer roleplaying to tactics, but believe combat has a place in every game. It's just that narrative trumps dice.

I've been playing RPGs on and off since 1994. I cut my teeth as both a player and DM in AD&D 2nd, but played the gamut of Palladium games, StarWars d6, Werewolf, Vampire, Cthulu, etc.. I took a few years away from the hobby, but have been back now for two years. I enjoy GMing, but occasionally need a break to clear my mind.
