What are you looking for?

I'm looking for middle aged gamers who can leave behind the "I want to win" style of play, participate in the story, and also meet for a pint and wings from time to time. My time is limited, so also want to enjoy the people I game with, so would prefer to meet and greet a few times proir to committing to play.

I enjoy DMing in my homebrew campaign setting, and prefer a lower magic/lower fantasy style of play. (Floating citadels, crystaline player races, and planar mumbo jumbo aren't my things.) I'm not much of a rules lawyer (and NO Monty Hauler), and would rather play through than argue/debate rule technicalities.

I also enjoy miniatures & war/strategy games, but am not very good at them I fear. (Warhammer Fantasy, Conquest of Nerath, Battlelore, A Game of Thrones). I have more metal minis than I can ever hope to paint, and piles of unfinished terrain.
