    I am running a Fantasy RPG in Twin Cities & looking for players

    Hi

    I just started running a campaign. I haven't run a RPG in +20 years. Ran them for many years. I am focusing on Fantasy Hero in a Sword & Sorcery setting (think Conan, Fafhred & Grey Mouser kind of world). Role playing is more important than combat. The story & characters are more important to me than the combat. I would say 50/50. Some sessions might be a big battle, some sessions not a single dice will be rolled for combat, and sometimes there might be a minor 'combat' as a plot device.

    Right now there are just three players and myself. We are looking for 2 or maybe 3 players to join us.

    Yay, a fellow 30-year old. ;-)

    We appear to live quite close to each other. I'm looking for players for a realistic fantasy campaign using RuneQuest rules. Schedule will be determined based on what works for players. What are you looking for?:
I'm hoping to find a once-a-week or biweekly group. I'd prefer to play with people 21+ as I am a withered old man (turn 30 next week). Nothing against youngins, but I'd like to be able to bring a 6-pack to share once in a while without fear of Stormtroopers busting up the party.

I am willing to GM for a smaller group (3-4 players) or play in any group. I can host or travel or rotate.

Saturday or Sunday, afternoons or evenings work best for me.

I'd love to try some miniature games but it would have to be with a group who would tolerate my distinct lack of miniatures. :-P

Biography:
I relocated to Mpls this May and looking for a group for a casual game. My favorite genre is low fantasy but I am up for just about anything, although I must confess roleplaying in an anime world has never really interested me.

The most current game I played in was a Shadowrun campaign. But I've played oodles of others over the years.
