What are you looking for?:
Both seeking a group to join as a player and possible members to join my twice-monthly Changeling: the Lost tabletop game. The game is darkly adventurous, with themes of difficult choices and unforeseen consequences. Strong roleplaying is preferred; assistance is available to teach the system and build a character if you're unfamiliar. The game meets in the evening (7 PM) on the first Saturday of the month, and in the afternoon and evening (2 or 3 PM) on the third Saturday of the month.
As a player, I seek games with a strong character- and plot-driven emphasis, but with the chance to perform epic deeds when necessary. I lean toward the "roleplayer" archetype, but try to give each character *some* aspect of excellence.
I've been RPing for 4 or 5 years now. I've thus far only experienced a few systems: namely, DnD 3.5 and 4.0, the Old World of Darkness Vampire: the Masquerade Larp, and the New World of Darkness systems, with emphasis on Changeling: the Lost and basic Mortal play but some experience in all gamelines.
Currently, I play in the Camarilla sanctioned LARP of Changeling: the Lost and Werewolf: the Forsaken, as well as running my own tabletop Changeling game as noted above. I'm interested in playing in a Dresden Files game as well, now that the rulebooks are out.
