What are you looking for?:

Looking for a group. I pefer super-heroic roleplaying, but I have played every genre under the sun and am willing to give virtually any genre a whirl. As my username suggests, I have mostly played "old school" games from the 80s, but I am willing to learn and to try new systems. I prefer role-play heavy campaigns (vs. combat heavy). I've got a family to take care of, so I would have to be a bit flexible in my schedule, but I am looking to play once every two weeks or maybe once a week, weekends preferred.

Biography:

I've been gaming since 1981. Like many gamers of my era, I cut my teeth on 1e AD&D, but quickly added other games of the day to my play list -- Gamma World, Boot Hill, Traveller, V&V, MSPE, RM2, MSHRPG, etc. Due to lack of players, my gaming for the last 10 years or so has been entirely restricted to PBEM / PBP (which has its rewards, but I am interested in trying my hand at tabletop gaming again).
