I know! it seems some people were XP whoring so they scrapped the whole system, can't remember for the life of me who was doing that though.

Yes, anywhere here, even this thread, would be just fine for now. When we get to rpol.net, every character gets their own bio page (separate from the Character Sheet, if I recall correctly). That's the perfect place to put background stories and character portraits.

Yes... if, when we watch the first film, we're Luke, then we wouldn't be privy to the Greedo scene. But it sets up a lot about Han, and subsequently a third of the third film. So feel free to include anything you guys are comfortable with, for drama's sake! :)

I'm a hunka-hunka burnin' love. Can you put me in a silver-sequined jacket? Totally, DC! Whatever you guys would like to share. I can only assume if you guys have some deep dark secrets, you'll leave those out.

Without giving anything away, I do need you guys to all be together right from the get-go... there won't be any "you're in a tavern" scene. Hopefully that won't matter, 'cause there'll be ample opportunity to describe why you had joined up with the others in dialogue or flashback - even if it's the...

Well there's a reason most tabletops are in the first person. We will be directly controlling our characters, and waiting for everybody to make their move in turn so it makes sense. And the new site sounds nifty, even if I am a little loathe to abandon Tapestry's final resting place.

I'm not going to reveal the premise ahead of time - all we need is the basics of why you guys are all working on the same ship. I'm afraid we will have to move, though; we need a dice roller, at least. So far, I'm pretty keen on rpol.net (it's where I was playing in that other EotE game). It's...

I want to see a good star wars movie again. They could call it "We promise no mididcholrians and Jar Jar" and I would take that as a step in a positive direction. As for how we all get into place, I'd like to hear DC's idea's about the character dynamic, and for IJ to set the premise, but I...

Rebels is certainly enjoyable. It's the kind of show where you make some popcorn and have a good time. I love Clone Wars too, but it occasionally took itself too seriously (as mandated by the source material). Rebels is pure fun, so far.

It's all in the timing! DogSolitude was asking me when in the timeline our adventure (campaign?) will take place. I was thinking between IV and V (when EotE is 'officially' set), but I'm open to suggestions. I'm basically good with anything in the Rebellion era, since going Old Republic or New...

Whatever you do, don't tell everyone you've got a character and then wait for a month before revealing it. I hate when people do that.

Thank you Dawncaller! For my part, I was shooting for three things: Create a wordless 'musical tableau' ending, as in the films Weave our exploits into the official continuity ('Echo' base much? ;)) Get some closure for the one little character I think we all forgot, and tie that into a...

It was quiet on the Whydah's bridge, the transparisteel cockpit largely opaqued to keep out most of the whirling tunnel of hyperspace. They sat together, each thinking thoughts of their own, not wanting to speak but desperately wanting to be close to one another. Luis Santiago, at the sensor...

What are you looking for?:
I've only been living in the area about four years and I am really missing RPGing with a group and feel like I'm probably a little bit rusty. I don't really have any friends here (other than family and a few acquaintances that I know only from work) and feel that this might be a way of make some friends of my own. I am willing to learn any system and am fairly fast at picking up on new games.
About Me
Biography:
I'm from Kentucky and have more than 30 years of RPGing experience under my belt. I have played a number of games over the years and have enjoyed most of the ones that I have tried. I am 43 and don't mind hanging with all ages of people, both older and younger. I am married, have no children and my wife enjoys gaming too, but we are both a little bit out of practice. I like video games, drawing, reading, movies, Renaissance Faires (when we HAVE the money and time to attend them) and a list of other hobbies to long to really go into here.
