What are you looking for?
I am a GM looking for players to play DnD 3.5. My campaign is set in a world I have spent years creating called Mesiterra, a setting consisting mostly of island nations and powerful city-states. I call it an alternate mediterranean fantasy. Good players for my group are interested in role-playing and exploring--kick-in-the door playing is likely to get your character killed. I like designing challenging dungeons dominated more by traps and puzzles than by monsters, and really making my players think. I ask that players be open-minded and LGBT friendly, I encourage spontaneously standing up to act out dialogue, and I reward good roleplaying.

I recently moved to the DC area, and this is really the first time in the last 9 years that I haven't been playing on a regular basis. I played DnD all through high school and college as both a player and a GM, and my love for GMing is deeply connected to the great times I've had as a player.
System-wise, I have only GMed DnD 3.5, but I've played 3.0, 4e, d20 Modern, Warhammer, and I've experimented with some more obscure, but really creative, game systems--including one that used a bunch of hand signs in the metagame. I also play the Armageddon MUD on and off.
