What are you looking for?:

I'm new to the game, looking for a fresh campaign as a player for a while before I try to run my own games. I don't mind if they're one-shots or weekly games I get into as long as there's fun to be had and I get the hang of the game to run it later on. I don't mind if there's a more roleplay/skill challenges involved, tons of encounters, or somewhere in between. I also have no preference as to what game world I play in.

I've been interested in turn-based strategy games for some time, and decided to get the D&D books to try it out. That being said, I haven't had a chance to actually play it yet, and trying to run a game with 5 other people who haven't played it either probably wouldn't be the best time. I have all the tools I need to play --or even run-- the game, I just haven't had the opportunity to do so yet.
