What are you looking for?:

I am new to the pen & paper RPG thing. I started one D&D campaign many years ago that was never completed. That aside, all my RPG experience has been video games. I am looking for a group that won't mind taking in a noob for some D&D or similar pen & paper game. I'm pretty new to this world and open to suggestion.

I'm not really looking to get super into character, speak with my character's silly accent and refuse to acknowledge the world around me. I'm more looking for a relaxed environment with some chill people, sit back, have a beer, roll dice, and play with stats. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about speaking in the character's first person, addressing others by their character names, and tackling the adventure at hand. I love a good adventure.

Biography:

Again, all my RPG experience has been video games, which is quite different. I love stats and xp points, which many modern (video game) RPGs are lacking in. I imagine there shouldn't be too much of a cost factor with pen & paper RPGs, and that is part of the appeal to me.

I also enjoy to meet new people, but am not one for bars, clubs, or other similar mass social gatherings. My whole purpose on this site is to meet some locals to hang out with.
