What are you looking for?:

I am living in Oak Lawn for my job from June 15th to August 15th, and I am looking for a campaign meeting weekly over the summer. Although I am new enough to RPGs not to have many strong preferences about genres, worlds, etc., I generally like tactical combat over heavy roleplay. I am familiar with D&D 4E and Eclipse Phase, but also am open to learning new systems.

About Me

Biography:

I am a graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At this point, I've played two D&D 4E campaigns (Eberron and DragonMech settings) and an Eclipse Phase campaign. I liked both the frequent battles in D&D and the political intrigue and diplomacy in Eclipse Phase, and whatever the system, I enjoy reading and thinking about character optimization.

I also love playing board and card games. My current favorites are (casual) Magic the Gathering, bridge, Tichu, Dominion, Pandemic, Endeavor, and Chaos in the Old World. Please let me know if you'd like to play any of them as well! Apart from games, I enjoy reading fantasy and sci-fi, writing, and hiking.
