What are you looking for?:
I represent a mature group of four players presently playing in three Pathfinder RPG campaigns in search of 2, perhaps 3 mature players who appreciate roleplay and storytelling.
3 of us have been playing together off and on for 20+ years.
We are looking for a few new players that are willing to play together as a group in an organic, challenging campaign that favors character/story development and roleplay over min/maxing and mechanical dicerolling.
We typically play on Saturdays, and there has been talk of opening up gaming sessions on Sunday, and Friday nights. Our play location in Redondo Beach has plenty of room, books, and miniatures, we need new blood to complete the picture. Anyone interested please pm me.
I've been gaming on and off since about 1982.
My favorite genres are Fantasy, Post-Apocolyptic, Sci-Fi, and Super Heroic, though not in any particular order. I prefer to play, but am slowly dragging myself towards running some type of game.
I like story driven campaigns that are organic, challenging, and have consequence. As such, I consider myself an old school player and can do without all that monty haul type stuff.
Games I've played:
Dungeons & Dragons Basic, AD&D, 2nd Edition, 3rd Edition, 4th (for exactly one session), Pathfinder RPG (presently playing), Gamma World (still have 1st, 2nd and 3rd), Traveller, Star Frontiers, Car Wars, Champions (still have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th editions; I have 6th but have yet to play it), Boot Hill, Marvel Super Heroes, Villians and Vigilantes, Superworld. I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting a game or two in there.
