Preferred Playing Style:
Ideal Group Size:
Medium Groups (Between 4 and 6 players)
What are you looking for?:
My hope is to find a bunch of local gamers looking for groups, and with them, start a group from scratch.
Why enter in mid-plot, groups set in their ways, and "new guy stigmata"?
For me, gaming is more about socialization.I like the casual "shoot the shit for an hour or two before we get down to the game" sort of feel.
That being said, I love superhero campaigns, and also enjoy classic fantasy settings, sci fi, ect. Anything that doesn't imitate real life too much.
In the past I've always been a part of kick-in-the-door hack and slash groups, and would like to give some real role playing a shot.
I haven't played since August, so I'm really really eager to roll some dice.
Typically I like to game once a week, but if life happens and we cancel a session, or all find ourselves free and pick up a spontaneous extra session on occasion, that's fine by me.
I cut my teeth on D&D3.5, and remain a loyal fan I have DMed it, but am just looking to play. I have played some GURPS and became instantly hooked I've DMed a little for that too, but again, just want to roll dice. Kobolds ate my baby is a fun distraction from time to time. I'm a fan of burning wheel, but sadly, have only played it at a con, the same goes for Dogs of the vineyard. I have tooled around with D20 modern, and enjoy it when it isn't too "real world".
I've been gaming on and off for about four years now, typically a hack-and-slash style, but I want to give some real role playing a shot.
