What are you looking for?
I'm starting up a new group with one other person who will likely switch GMing with me. The game on the table is Supernatural, put out under the cortex ststem which is a modern era horror, monster hunter style game. Eventually we'll likely be playing some AD&D in an old-school style.
We want a group that is mature (relatively) and can maintain a very very drama-free atmosphere. A group that knows 1) it's just a game, 2) RP "drama, competition, adversarial interactions" are not carried away from the table.
Additionally I'm looking for a gaming table that respects role-play immersion, can get together for a game, have some laughs, some snacks and a good session. I like to game often if the chemistry clicks but I also like to get out on the weekends and go camping so at times I need the option to skip a session so flexibility is the watchword.
About Me
Biography
I've been playing since D&D red-box and in my time, have played: Shadowrun, White Wolf (Old system and I've played MOST of the games in that catalogue), GURPS, Warhammer Fantasy, Deadlands, Marvel Superheroes, Star Wars (wotc), Gammaworld, Cyberpunk 2020, Mutants and Masterminds, Call Of Cthulhu, Teenagers from Outer Space, Toon & Champions.
I enjoy cooperative games, but when the situation calls for it, a little competitive gaming is also fine (eg. Vampire) but I don't tend to play combat-monkey characters and prefer a social solution to most in game conflicts but of course I adapt to whatever comes around. I like a good story, I like intrigue and I'm old-school when it comes to winning and losing, meaning, "If the story is good, everything else is secondary including character death".
At the moment I'd really enjoy a mature, well-run White-Wolf game (and yes, they do exist). Thanks!
