You're right, this is a fun question! I tend to do the same things when I name things, drawing upon symbolism and reference. I occasionally use those references to help inform myself of where I could potentially go with the character. Tam's first name is a direct reference to Simon and River...

You really shouldn't have missed this one, Ubiqtorate. We've decided to take the whole story in a new direction entirely. You'll see the whole picture as the other players write, but we need you to have Kenlan dress up as a Bantha, dance like Oola, and spin an X-Wing on his finger like a...

Odd... So how do we create a private room and stuff? And that was a great post, Fingon! I know you expressed some concerns about that post, but part of the beauty of writing for Tam is his volatility. He can fly off the handle with ease, per the needs of the writer(s).

“Tell me,” said Tam, not turning away from the prisoner in the holding cell, “why is he unconscious?” “He resisted containment,” offered Gunnery Chief Varnillian, “and had to be stunned. I suggest we keep him in this state for the duration of our journey to Bastion.” Tam could sense the...

Yeah, I've been waiting on Fingon, mostly because I wasn't sure how he wanted to react to seeing Tam again. But maybe I should just go ahead and come up with something myself.

Um... I can't remember if it ever specified. I think I had it in my head that it was the Obstructor, but don't take that as gospel. It's still got guns, though. :)

It's not really anything I thought of until now. Whenever I saw this group in action I always imagined "swarms" of TIEs, and never had to delineate the actual number/strength of the starfighters. And yeah, don't forget what Vader et al. will bring to the party. :)

Hmm... 1-3 squadrons, depending on configuration. Add to that the 2 squadrons on the Edacious and the 2 on each of the interdictors, you're dealing with 8-12 squadrons of TIEs.

Sure thing! There is Admiral Harmod's VSD Edacious, and the Inun, captained by Todrin Doule. From there, Morning Star Squad breaks into three lines: - Two identical attack lines, consisting of an Interdictor and two Loronar Strike cruisers each. - One pursuit line with a Carrack cruiser,...

I'm not going to make any decisions for Fingon or I. J. Thompson, but I doubt there will be much triangling going on. To quote more eclectic band lyrics, "Absences makes the heart grow fungus."

“Excuse me, young man,” said the commander after a long, awkward silence, “but if you could tell me what you’re looking for perhaps I could help.” Tam ignored the officer, his eyes locked on the hologram, clicking forward one frame at a time. Every time the two figures stepped out of view, Tam...
