What are you looking for?:

As a player, I'm looking for a good blend of action and character building, particularly with players who take their characters seriously (to a degree). I don't mind players who prefer heavy combat, if they have good motivations for their character, and likewise for those who enjoy plot-heavy scenes.

My preference is to get into 4e games as a player. Pathfinder would be a second, though I still much prefer 4e. I'm willing to travel a bit to attend games, up to about 20 miles or so.

If I were to try my hand at GMing, I'd like to risk a martial campaign, as I've come to call it. The setting is almost completely devoid of magic, including arcane, divine, primal, psionic, etc.. With the advent of 4e D&D, it seems more viable than ever.

Latest Update: Lately, I've been playing around with the development of an ultra lite rules set, geared to provide only the most basic governing for fantasy storytelling. The system is not amazingly unique, and it's very generic, but it vastly simplifies the process of administration. If I could find enough interested players, I would try my hand at running some manner of a campaign.

I've probably been gaming for a little over 14 years. My first introduction to D&D was 3rd Edition, playing a rogue. I've been a rather large fan of D&D ever since, and nearly all of the games I try to play in revolve around medieval fantasy and the d20 system.
