I'm looking for a mid level campaign (levels 5-10), but am willing to start at One. I find mid levels most challenging and interesting. Low level is dedicated too much to scraping by, and high levels tend to get just plain silly. I prefer Forgotten Realms as its balanced and I do not need to spend hours and hours of off-game time with a GM in order to learn enough about the world to feel I belong...

Pet Peeves: GMs who are sleeping with another player who just happens to play a character two levels higher than everyone else and wields ye olde +5 Dragon Slaying Blunt Intstrument of Sharpness with Double Elemental Burst and Multiple Regenerating Wishes...

I'm not sure what I find sadder. A GM who gives out fantasy magic items in return for real world sexual favors, or a player who accepts same. Or that fact that no one has ever offered me a holy sword in return for favors... Hmmmmmm
