I am currently a player looking for a group. I tend to make characters that are memorable ,if not entirely compatible to a group. most of the games i played in were with the same group for 17 years. It got to be more work than having fun. It was more about tactics and strategies over characters and fun. I'll basically play anything though i have the most experience with rolemaster, D&D, and Shadowrun.

D&D is getting more complicated over the years but can still be fun. I really like shadowrun.
