What are you looking for?:

It is the people with whom you play an RPG that make or break a game.

I enjoy roleplaying when the point of the exercise is to collaboratively create a story. I do not enjoy it when the point is to jimmy with the rules to gain an advantage. Because of this I am not tied to any particular setting or gendre or ruleset, though I concede that I prefer some to others. I do like the combat aspects of games, but not if it is excessive. I don't believe that a good RPG needs to have a tabletop miniatures aspect, but miniatures can definitely serve to enhance the experience.

Finally, something that sets me apart from most players, I enjoy the lower levels as that is where a character develops character. I like starting campaigns at 1st level and struggling up the power curve using wit and guile.
