Hey, it works for Martians. ;D (obscure sci-fi reference)
Also reminds me of the old school grognard munchkins who would gently heat their old dice in a frying pan, because the process used would embed air-bubbles inside of the plastic, and heating them slightly would allow the bubbles to...
it largely depends on how you hold the RGU, and subsequently release the RGU.
if one could control their spatial positioning such that they hold the RGU the exact same way each and every time, release the RGU at the exact same spatial positioning with the exact same amount of force each and...
Character A is in location xyz∆, character B is in a different location xyz∆, can they affect each other and to with what degree of likelihood / success?
Since you so handily provided a list, let's start with that. ^^
(oh, and in response to your favorite solid object question,...
...and despite my preferences for tactical and strategic elements in rp which tend towards a rules heavy environment, I have somehow invented a rules-lite system of role playing.
*A few moments of silence while I overcome my embarrassment, please*
So I thought I would ask here, as quite...
i recall rolemaster has 20 armor types, and what amounts to an efficiency rating versus each type of damage possible in the game. it was a nice degree of granularity, but not everyone likes 'chartmaster', especially the rules-lire crowd.
you know, i think we would get "royally" thumped by her Highness if we retreated now without her even getting to fight. (pun intended) I know some of us are low on spells, but is anyone actually low on hit points or wounded in some fashion?
I wonder if "days" means calendrical orientation of some kind. Well, my two are ready to move on and have no particular objection if someone wants to take it with us. When we are not in such an unknown location, then perhaps we could research it more. Briefly wonder if that pedestal is mobile -...
Thanks for the replies so far. I've found that maintaining a three-ring binder just doesn't work for me (unfortunately neither do composition books, spirals, or any hardbound notebook that I've found so far). However, I still struggle with a laptop computer as well sometimes. While not the use of...
Nah, we should save that, unless we are towards the end of a given exploration period and haven't used it yet. If not, we'll just rely on the augury and danger sense. Perhaps a study via detect magic and detect evil, then kiri it. ^^
Star Wars, WFRP, Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 and 4e
Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Homebrew
Preferred Playing Style:
50% Roleplaying / 50% Combat
Ideal Group Size:
Medium Groups (Between 4 and 6 players)
What are you looking for?:
Ultimately, I'm looking for a group of players that would be interested in a long-term campaign. I enjoy world-building, so eventually I would have to begin making homebrew adventures in my in-the-works setting. I wouldn't necessarily have to DM, as long as someone would be comfortable doing so. Whatever it takes to have the group meet up and throw dice.
I got my start in role-playing games at the tender age of five years old. I discovered my older brother's "Red Box" Dungeons & Dragons set before I was even in kindergarten, and although I got beat up for digging in his room, I would have to surmise that gaining a lifelong hobby from that exploration made it totally worthwhile.
I started DM'ing D&D around 2000 while on active military duty, spanning 3e, 3.5 and 4e games, as well as playing in numerous campaigns run by friends across the world. I have also participated in OWoD, Pathfinder and Traveler campaigns as well. I currently have a group of friends that I gained simply from searching for other table-top RPG players in my area, and while we currently are on hiatus from two different campaigns due to conflicting schedules, we are always looking for additional players.
