What are you looking for?

Primarily, I'm looking for players for a 4E D&D campaign I'm running. The setting is typical fantasy in a custom (but basic) setting. We'll start out using the Keep on the Shadowfell adventure and then move on depending on player preferences. Expect dungeon crawling, mystery, roleplaying, and, most importantly, fun.

I'm flexible with player types. While I don't particularly enjoy power gaming, I'm fine with it to the point where it isn't getting in the way of the other players. I'd also prefer to have system fanboyism left away from the table.

I'm also looking to join in on any kind of game. D&D, Star Wars, Deadlands, and GURPS are what I like to play the most, but I'm open to most systems.

About Me

Biography

I've been playing D&D since high school, though I really began to play more frequently in college. During that time, I started trying out other systems, finding that I really enjoy Deadlands and GURPS. As one of the officers of the campus gaming club, I made a real push towards getting more people into the hobby, as well as networking the large numbers of gamers around campus who were wanting to join a game but didn't know where to look. My biggest project with this was to start up a campus-wide "living campaign" that anybody could join in or run in. While it wasn't as much of a success as I initially hoped, it got a bunch of players to start networking and a bunch of games sprung up from it, which was good enough for me :D

I've since moved from the campus area and am now just looking with people looking to kick back, tell a damned good story, and just have some fun around the table.

D&D is still my main tabletop interest, with 4th Edition being my personal preference to run. GURPS, Star Wars Sagas, Deadlands, and Ghostbusters are the other systems I really like to play. I've also got a bunch of other games that I'd love to try out, like Rifts, Ninja Turtles, Alternity, Prime Directive, and even the James Bond RPG.
