What are you looking for?:
My last stint in the roleplaying world was a hybrid system pulling mechanics from D&D, damage calculation from Tritac, and a magic system based off Ars Magica. So I like to mix and match. But... overall, the point is to share an experience with people, the system is just a means to an end. I prefer a degree of realism and a group of people that thrive on improvisation and adaptability.
I'm in the process of setting up a campaign using Pathfinder with some customizations. I prefer magic and nonhumans to be few and far between, and thus far more powerful by comparison. I'm also of the opinion that the rules are primarily meant to find options, and want to find a group of players who lean to the realistic, but also think on their feet and are as likely to employ roleplaying and creative use of skills as they are to use an attack.
Lastly, I prefer sandbox style games, where the plot evolves around the players rather than being mostly scripted. That allows the most creativity, which I believe is the heart of RPGs to begin with.
