What are you looking for?:

I love GMing but am also interested in playing. I like action and some combat but prefer games with plenty of chances to roleplay and develop characters as well. I prefer serious games and dark fantasy, horror or sci-fi settings but i'm also willing to try new things. Most D & D settings are fine. I like small-medium groups (3-5 players is best). I prefer not playing with munchkins and power-gamers or GMs who only throw combat encounter after combat encounter at their players with little to no REAL roleplaying.

As a GM i run the kinds of games i'd enjoy playing. I don't like the "kill monsters and take their stuff" style - but combat, action and adventure are still a big feature. I like to provide plenty of chances to roleplay. Many sessions i run may have several hours of roleplaying with little dice rolling or combat. If you can't handle that, please don't ask to play. I like to have interesting plots and characters/N.P.Cs with motivations. Also, in my games actions do have consequences - i.e.: murder the local magistrate and expect repercussions. I put a lot of effort into my games, so players that put effort into playing their characters well/developing them will be rewarded.
