What are you looking for?:

My wife and I are currently looking for a couple new players to join us and a friend in starting a new D&D 3.5e campaign. Chances are I would end up DMing, but I am also open to playing, though I prefer to stick with typical D20 rules and established settings. If I am to DM, setting will be open to discussion, but will most likely be in a version of the Forgotten Realms or Eberron.

By the way, as far as my campaign style, I enjoy putting together a good story and good characters for PCs to interact with, so expect to do some roleplaying, and not just a bunch of dungeon crawls. D&D is a tactical game, and combat is a given, but the point of RPGs is to act out a character in an epic story, no?

Biography:

I have played RPGs, primarily D&D, since the early 90s, and have GM'd many campaigns. My wife and at least one other gamer should be available, and we are mainly looking to find at least 2 other serious gamers to join us. Those who join must understand that we have a young child, and therefore the games must be at our home, and there will be no smoking or drinking allowed in the house. We are hoping to find some mature roleplayers who value real roleplaying as much as they do combat, and who can deal with Real Life interruptions (such as our little one), without ruining their experience.
