What are you looking for?:
I'd like to find a good group of players that likes to explore character development.
When I GM, campaigns take place in worlds of my own making, and tend to evolve into save-the-world (or at least the village) type scenarios. I tend to warp the rules, and enjoy putting non-standard spins on classes, feats, and hero advancement. I like games where the players feel their characters are truly capable, and not just a collection of good gear.
Ideal players for me would be flexible players who like to think up new tricks to keep things interesting, and not just in combat. I like use a variety of skills and talents to solve problems.
I'd thought to run a Pathfinder-based game, but now I'm leaning toward a more open system. Savage Worlds appeals to me, and I'm open to other systems.
The campaign should have the possibility to go many different directions. The starting setting is a bit odd, and somewhat open to different possibilities, so players who want to play something unorthodox (but not overpowered) would be welcome.
Long time GM, have been gaming since the mid 80's. I've played dozens of games, at various times. I tend to keep coming back to the cornerstones, however. I haven't done any pen-and-paper gaming recently, instead I ran my own NWN persistent world for a while, and have done some MMORPG'ing. I'm looking forward to telling tabletop stories again.
