Sorry I didn't get back to you at all. I've been so sidetracked by life, it's ridiculous. I don't think (obviously) that we're going to be able to get into the game you're running right now. We're actually looking for players/a DM for a game that we want to try to get up and running once a week. If you're interested or know anyone interested, let me know

    sorry again about the delay.
  2. Alasse, Sorry my reply took as long as this as well ya know I hate when real life intrudes on real fun. Yes I would love to hear from you both we are looking at a group of 5 to 6 so your friend would make us at 5 allowing us to start the game.

It is a homebrew 3.5 game Alittle of all sorts of gmaes styles; delving, raids, urban, high seas complete world so there are many inter connected plots to unwind.

Hey; I didn't get your message until today. I've been away for a while. What kind of campaign? I'll check out the blog. Would a friend of mine (an experienced gamer) be able to join us too? Let me know

I am interested in starting up my D&D group again, or a D20 Future game. I have a really extensive world setting and most times the game has run very well longer that 2 or more years.
About Me
Previous military, big gamer back then, but started in Jr High in the late 70's so been a round a bit. Used to own a game studio in San Antonio Tx called the Gamerz Edge after I got out of the military the first time. Yep went back in just in time to ship for Desert Storm.

Players, A GM's perspective

by Opie Wan Kenopi on 01-11-2010 at 02:44 PM
There are two major things to keep in mind when endeavoring to role-play well. The first is to take a lesson from literature and the movies and have a character arc. A character arc is the journey the character undertakes over the course of the campaign.

No, we aren’t referring to the journey from the tavern to the dungeon, it’s the internal journey, the lessons of morality and knowledge that the character learns. The character could start as a generally good person and become corrupt

Some history of the world.

by Opie Wan Kenopi on 01-07-2010 at 08:13 AM
Hmmm where to start? First I guess is what is the span of recorded history? The “Span of Recorded History” isn’t a tell all of the world, the last great war the “Time of the Mind Eaters” is about where the recorded history of the world starts this time was about 25 hundred years in the past. Before this is little more than rumor and innuendo.

The elves record this final war as “The Sacrifice”, It is called such because to end this great war the elves created a magic and feat of mentalisam

Tales of the strange and dastardly

by Opie Wan Kenopi on 01-06-2010 at 06:15 AM
Well it is winter yet again the snow is thick and relentless in Worcester and I have decided that I want to start up my campaign again. What bored you say, well that and I miss a weekly game.

I have the need for crack… and my crack is gaming… I will post at least once a week in the blog until I have a group together, with some history notes and random stories from the campaign. Once I have the group going I will try and post a summery of the story line from the adventure.
