If you play in one of my games already I am placing a priority for new players not already participating in any of my games. If slots for a game I am running remains open I may allow a player from one game to join the other game. It would be best to play just one character in any campaign I run. I will make exceptions only after having experience running with that a player for several months (3-6) and there is room. It will all be on a case by case basis.

I am looking for a group of players to play in a campaign set in the above-mentioned game system/ world. Previous experience with the game is not required or preferred. I am hoping to find at least a group of four to six players. I will begin with no less than two players and may allow for up to eight
All Characters in the North America group will be limited to characters from the 1st edition: core book, Any World books whose locations are in the South American (not including Old United States region), other books include, Sourcebooks 1 , Conversion book 1, Mercenaries, and appropriate Rifter source material. All classes/ races are still subject to approval by GM. No player created pre-generated characters will be accepted. The GM can and will provide pre-generated characters on request.
Do not post or reply with any character sheets in any game I run. Players should play a character they can really get involved with that they can enjoy for a good length of time. Players do not need to create characters to “round-out” a groups short coming. While the character should have things about them that a group would desire, like working well with other players should feel free to play some type of character that really gets them excited. In other words, don’t make a warrior because the group needs another warrior. Play something you want to play and the group will just have to work around their short comings.
Please do not put down what type of player you wish to play, nor discuss or post anything about a character’s stats/ occupation/ abilities/ equipment.
Players will not begin knowing each other unless they grew up together or has spent time with another PC before the campaign begins. Each character will more than likely start out the game by themselves. All rolls for characters must be witnessed by the GM in the chat. Each character should have a short backstory about them that must also be approved by the GM. The GM can help each player with creating characters and their backgrounds or provide the background. Each player will have to schedule a date to create their character with the GM using the Role 20 game by messaging. Having the books is not necessary. I will not provide copies of any books. I generally use the games pretty much as the rules are written in whatever edition I list. I do not generally change any of the rules. If I have any house rules, they will be posted/ discussed prior to the first game. I use a hidden gaming method (self-created) that most players may not be accustomed too, but I assure you if you like stories with depth and deep characters you will enjoy my gaming style. This is not a game for those wanting only to hack and slash/ shoot and loot. My games require substance and work form both the GM and players. Experience is earned never freely given (any game I run if you are starting out the game you will be creating a 1st level/ 0 experienced character. I only desire mature players that are respectful to everyone both in and out of the game. Disrespectful or disruptive players will not be tolerated in games I run. You may be given a warning once, perhaps twice afterwards I will block the person permanently. You are required to be at least 17 or older to participate in my games.

When coming up with a character make sure you create a character that will provide a “good enough” reason for others to want to travel with and/ or trust. If you make a character that has no positive value to being with the group please do not expect the other players to accept them in their group. Be realistic with your approach to this game when creating your character’s concept and ability to get along with others in the group. It is okay to make a character who will bump heads with others, a loner type or even have a very different set of beliefs, but there must be a solid reason(s) why others would travel with them in the end. Even Raistlin Majere of Dragonlance constantly provided proof why the rest of his party traveled/ worked with him.
Please do not discuss political, religious or any other real-world topics that others may find offense. My games are LBGTQI+ accepting and I expect everyone to respect each other no matter the race, sex, religion, disabilities, or any other difference another individual may have. So long as your differences are not disrupting the game I have no problem with it and expect the same from my players both in and out of the game.

The natural history we know is a lie, a falsehood sold to us by wicked old men who would make the world a dull gray prison and protect us from the dangers inherent to freedom. They would have you believe our planet to be a lonely starship, hurtling through the void of space, barren of magic and in need of a stern hand upon the rudder.
Close your mind to their deception. The time before our time was not a time of senseless natural struggle and reptilian rage, but a time of myth and sorcery. It was a time of legend, when heroes walked Creation and wielded the very power of the gods. It was a time before the world was bent, a time before the magic of creation lessened, a time before the souls of men became the stunted, withered things they are today.
That is the story of that time.
This is the story of the Exalted -- from the back of the corebook Exalted 2nd edition

What makes Exalted different from any other fantasy role-playing game?
It draws it’s inspiration from both Western and Eastern sources, both old and new.
The first major influences are the ancient epics of the West and East: The Ramayana, The Iliad, Journey to the West, The Arabian Nights, et cetera
Next Pulp Fiction; which birthed legends such as Tarzan, Conan, Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser
The final sources of inspiration for Exalted are Asia’s over-the-top manga, anime, videogames and wuxia films.
The second way Exalted is different from other roleplaying games is in the power level involved. In most fantasy games, a player’s “Heroic” character starts out as a complete wuss. He is lucky if he owns a rusty dagger and a loincloth, and he’s possessed of all the fighting prowess of an asthmatic school boy. Exalted is different. Exalted characters begin the game as bad-butts -- reborn heroes of old wielding powerful magic and weapons so massive mere mortals can’t even lift them. These heroes are easily capable of challenging armies in combat and prevailing.
Finally Exalted setting: Creation is a fantastic place, a flat plane larger than the whole of our Earth formed by the confluences of elemental forces and the will of ancient primordial beings. Once an even larger and more fabulous place, all of Creation was nearly destroyed some 800 years ago by powerful forces arrayed against it. Just beyond the edges of the world, the Fair Folk bide their time, waiting for another opportunity to march forth from the formless Wyld to undo shaped reality. Just beneath the skin of the world, the necrotic lords of the Underworld plot to share the gift of Oblivion with all living things. And imprisoned within the infinite body of the Yozi known as Malfeas, the Demon Princes strives to escape their prison. Meanwhile, in the Celestial City of Yu-Shan, even the greatest of the gods cannot tear their attention away from the seductive Games of Divinity although Creation teeters on the brink of apocalypse. That leaves the Chosen of the Gods, the Exalted, as Creations only hope.
Those Exalted are your characters. What legends will you tell of their deeds?
--from Exalted’s Introduction

Hi,
If you have read all of that, you have just been introduced to the game of Exalted. I am looking to run a Chronicle featuring five players for the Exalted game. The players will each make unique characters that will each some how change the world as it is, in dramatic way for good or ill. Each has been gifted with great powers that makes them very dangerous to the established powers that be. How will they use those powers? Will they try and make a better world, conquer the lands or bring about the destruction of the world?
The game begins with very few people if any realizing your abilities. If the wrong individuals find out what powers you have attained they will try to destroy you. This world once belonged to the Solars which you have recently become, but your kind has been demonized throughout history. Beings with powers like you are called “Anathema” and your powers are believed to have origins from devil worshipping and evil sacrifices. For nearly 800 years the Dynastic Empire has influenced most of the world. Their leadership is lead by a type of “Holy” Exalted known as “Dragon-Blooded.” The happen to be the most populous kind of Exalted throughout Creation. Those who belong to the Empire will stop at nothing to destroy individuals like you!
Other magical creatures have their own plans for the world, most of whom are not benign. Recently within the last couple of years your body has been infused with an immortal spark that moves from host to host when the body dies. It seems to carry memories of its past lives and it is what gives you the powers you now possess. You are unsure if your power are evil. Maybe, it is like a weapon and depending on the type of person who wields it will makes the difference if the power are good or evil.
You have read some of the introduction of Exalted. Many powerful beings have their own designs for Creation. You may wish to support them or stand against them. Will you become saviors of humanity or new dictators in a cruel world? This is what I want to explore with you in this game. Your characters are powerful beings but you are not the only ones with such gifts. There are other Exalts some just like yourself and they each have their own desires. The Dynast wants to rule the world, and other beings want to subjugate the inhabitants of Creation.
There is much to discover, ancient ruins, treasure and artifacts, monsters, and more. You do not need to be an experienced player to play Exalted. I will help each player to create suitable characters for the game. Contact me if you want more information or have an interest in playing.
Thank you for reading all this,
Cassie ]]>

“It’s always darkest before the dawn.”
“When hell freezes over.”
“The light shone in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.”
Chapter 1: Introduction to the Campaign

Welcome to Cellinor! Known as “The Realm” to it’s citizenry, Cellinor is the Light in the Darkness of a world without a memory. A world that does not understand it’s own past, or for that matter understand it’s own future. It is a world that knows of a destruction so powerful that it nearly annihilated every civilized race, and yet left few records as to what occurred.
The Realm is growing, and bringing peace and prosperity to many and yet it is still deadly and mysterious. Outside of the Realm the lands are much worse; they can be savage and wild, brutal or beautiful, and they are chocked full of adventure and discovery. Ruins and ancient monuments protrude from hillsides, and it’s more common to stumble across something from the “Old Time” than not doing so. Even in the Known Realm itself where “civilization” is but a few generations young, the Old Time, the time before the End Days, manifests itself in ruin, brick and stone, recycled and built upon for modern use. The truth is, even commoners know that the New Age, the Celn Age, is not as sophisticated as that of the Old, the time of Kasille. Kasille is named after the few deciphered monoliths scattered amongst the world. The Kasillians were an empire of many races, prosperous and advanced, who either annihilated themselves, or came to some doom the like of which is hard to imagine. And yet, the evidence is all around but the clues are scattered and do not yet tell the tale. People search for lost knowledge and lost artifacts that can’t be made in current times. Magic and technology are the trade of those brave enough to search. And many do, for the risk is great but so is the reward. Others fear what is discovered may lead to a new doom. The mystery of what happened to these ancient civilizations remains a mystery. But that mystery is beginning to unravel to you!
What is known is that once there was an ancient and powerful civilization that was brought to ruin by an unknown cataclysm, the End Days. Too much time has passed, and the truth of what was before, and why it was destroyed has been filled with superstition, rumor and perhaps, exaggeration. That empire and its secrets have now been reclaimed by the primordial forces of nature and lost to the knowledge of men. The wilds are simply too savage a place to explore for these answers, unless you’re willing to risk your life and maybe more.
A hundred generations have passed since that time .and now a single Kingdom shines as a beacon of light for the land. The inhabitants of this kingdom love their king who has faithfully defended their borders and now ensures peace and prosperity for all citizens. This is not an easy task since the few major cities are built upon the ruins of ancient ones, and these are scattered in the wilderness adjacent to the resources large groups of people need to survive and to thrive. Only a lone highway, the King’s Highway, connects them as it meanders through still inhospitable and ruthless wilderness. Fiefdoms outside the major cities exist by means of a lord and a protective garrison. While most do quite well, it is not uncommon to hear of one that has been taken back by the evils of the Wilds. In many ways, the entirety of the Known World is a vast belt stretching from East to West. Above, lay the Forbidden Lands, below the Empire lie the Lands of Ice and Night. Even the bravest of explorers do not return from these lands. The mere mention of either is enough to send commoners into panic.
Unbeknownst to the common folk however, this kingdom is under dire threat from secret enemies within as well. The king’s loyal servants have been ordered to seek out brave souls who would aid the defense of the kingdom. Some in secret, and some in leadership roles. Others search for the knowledge of what led to the End Days, and to the meaning of the coming signs, which point to yet another unyielding end for the Lighted Folk, The Darkening!
Your heroes can help Lord Borindin, and the Celn Empire, or they can help themselves or other allies. Regardless of your motivations, the Darkening comes for all. For as they say in Celn lands “Every wick must reach it’s end”. Will you fight to keep the flame alive? Or will you prepare for the Darkness? Consider these adventure motivations carefully. You and your party will choose one to begin and change or keep your allegiances depending on your actions and decisions! ]]>

I'm looking for 4-5 players for a "Fall of Rome"-era fantasy campaign set in an alternate history of our world where high elves founded a Roman-esque empire spanning most of the known world.

I'd like to play 2 Thursdays per month from 6:00-9:00 PM at Caffeinated Gaming in Zieglerville, PA, starting in August. I'm open to rulesets - I'm much more familiar with Pathfinder, but I have played some 5e and would be comfortable running that as well.

Please contact me via private message if you're interested. Thanks! ]]>
