Players who like mysterious storylines and absurd humor wanted for an ongoing, online campaign using the easy to learn HC system.

The plot takes place in a variety of worlds and universes ranging from fantasy to cyberpunk to space opera all using the same characters as they hop from place to place.

We have spots open for new players in an ongoing campaign. Played sessions are released onto youtube. Check them out at www.youtube.com/channel/UC2TZucbqPpz9Bx8rz57Wbmg to see if this is the kind of game you would enjoy playing. If so, message me or stop by tinyurl.com/ybtyttaa to sign up and find out more about the game.

(Disclaimer: Not much to do with Cthulhu - use to but I can't figure out how to change the name on youtube yet. I am a better GM than computer guy.)

Additional information:

Scope: Long campaign.

Players: Lots. Many different groups. See schedule at: heroiccthulhu.proboards.com/

More details on general board/character sheet at heroiccthulhu.proboards.com/

When: See schedule. Schedule found at heroiccthulhu.proboards.com/

Sessions generally seem to go for 4-6 hours.

Format: Roll20 with google hangouts. You will need a webcam. More information at heroiccthulhu.proboards.com/

This game is recorded and published on youtube, twitch, etc.

Setting: It's a multiverse. You may be jousting one day and trying to repair your space fighter the next. There is no telling.

Age: 18+ as the campaign may deal with adult situations and include profanity.

Other: Funny, not as much combat as many seem use to. Not beer and pretzels.

Thank you! ]]>

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, unless there is a conflict, in which case we have usually changed to the 4th Saturday. Currently we are playing the Iron Gods Pathfinder adventure path and have just reached 2nd level so we are very early in the game.

We have 4 GMs in the group, so we will play a game for several months, then switch to a different game. If you would like to find out more, please contact me at jgunter1@tampabay.rr.com.

Savage worlds one shot series http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/showthread.php/31214-Savage-worlds-one-shot-series?goto=newpost Thu, 08 Feb 2018 00:21:17 GMT I have a game coming up on friday the 16th at 7:30 Pm. it will be the first in a set of one shots that I'll be hosting on fantasy grounds. Im looking for more players either for one game or more. No commitment needed.

The first game is The REDNECKoning, when hillbillies take on demons from hell to defend their small mountain town. I will be using pregens and only core rules so this is a great chance for a new player to learn the system. If you're interested please stop by the game posting or send me a message for more details.

Walks-The-Paths, a battle scarred and world weary Galliard pokes at the remnants of the fire, tossing on another log.

Walks-The-Paths speaks quietly, "So, your rite of passage is complete and you want to see the world? Well, I guess it makes sense the Den Father sent you to talk to me. I've been around a bit." he shrugs, his gaze more focused on the fire than the freshly minted Cliath before him.

"So, where did you want to go? New York, visit the Sept of the Green? Mother Larissa is... well, if she's still around, she's certainly... memorable. Maybe head for the west coast? I know some folks over in Seattle, at Little Water. You could spend a few years there learning to..."

The younger werewolf interrupts, "What about Detroit? You've told more than a few stories of epic battles there."

The normally reserved Galliard's eyes flare wider, "WHAT?! Why in Gaia's name would you -ever- want to go to Detroit?!" he turns away, needing a moment to get his own rage under control.

"Because I want to make a name for myself. I want to fight for Gaia, not be stuck spending another season on the bawn helping the keepers."

"I get it, you hear the songs, hell, I've sang more than a few of the battles there... but Detroit isn't some bastion of Garou heroes. You hear about the great victories, and the crushing defeats, but you don't hear about the day-to-day. All those Garou dead from the endless wyrmspawn that pit of a city hosts. Look, I visited there once. Listen to me, and listen to me good, don't go to Detroit."

"Why?"

"Where do I even begin? The Pentex run hospital, churning out fomori like they were happy meals? The vampires that control most of the urban areas? Maybe the mages, cabals of caern breakers who seek to drain our sacred places of their energies, twisting life and spirit and even time itself to their ends? If all that wasn't enough... the most powerful Sept in the area is the Sept of Belle Isle."

"THAT Belle Isle?"

"Yes, that Belle Isle. The one that practically devolved into civil war, the one where the Alpha and Beta of the sept were slain by their own packmates amongst claims of corruption."

"Well, were they corrupted?"

"No way for us to know for sure now, but what do you expect from Shadow Lords?"

"It sounds like a miracle anyone survives there."

"Well, to be fair, it isn't all bad. The Caern itself is pretty comfortable, and well warded from the surroundings. But yes, many do fall. Those that survive, though... they do make quite a name for themselves out there."

A Crimson Shore, Far Realm http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/showthread.php/31210-A-Crimson-Shore-Far-Realm?goto=newpost Mon, 29 Jan 2018 02:10:54 GMT Hello all. I run a long standing, ten year in the making D&D campaign. It is composed of five campaigns which rather than a traditional campaign, happen simultaneously in the game world. That means that even though the games are years apart, characters, NPCs appear in other campaigns. It's hard to explain, but if you'd like to check us out, please feel free to explore our latest journals here, gazetteer as well.

A brief bit. Much more at the link above!

Believed to be the last remaining oral piece of the Kasillian Age, the Ballad of Light and Darkness is said to be a song of the common people. Few material cultural works exist from that era, and the Age of Simplification destroyed most of what might have been left after the war. However, the Ballad of Light and Darkness became an oral tradition, one in which the Order of Flame, could not quite eradicate. Strangely, the Ballad does not describe the victory of the Lighted Folks as described in the Liberation Scroll, but rather a “Darkening” and the rise of Heroes to fight as was done in the past. For this reason, it is considered blasphemous unless performed in Celn tradition and in the proper military context. When heard, the metaphor of the Heroes and their “Path” has spurred numerous Celns onto battle. It is often played before a great conflict, and always sung after a tremendous victory.

When Gaians hide from Lighted Day
When Erebus , in Night, holds Sway
When those above are shown the way
To dark and deep, forgotten Ket.
When Heroes sleep, but rise once more
When Sages reveal our ancient Lore
When great Kings and Queens from distant shores
Awaken from their peaceful reign.
When silhouettes a Ring of Three
There will in time, come Darkening
When lands do swell from what does breed
Below, in chilled and frozen seed.
When the words of Kasille are unknown
Protecting those who rise to throne
When Heroes deeds will make it shown
The road to the Path of Light.
A Time for those to pay the price
Of man’s betrayal committed thrice
The Lords of Darkness wait to rise
Commanding hordes to battle.
Listen to the Sage’s verse
Not prophets speaking soothing words
To aid us All, a few must hurt
Make idols new; then ruin’s curse.
The Warrior shall be duty bound
His weapon rests upon the ground
His mortal wounds shall bring him down
And he will rise anew.
The Trickster’s tool provides the spark
Between the Sunlight and the Dark
His hooded visage is the mark
His time will come again.
Great Mother’s blood will play a part
Her enemies fear a noble heart.
To end the Dark, the Light will start
Her nature’s noble passage.
The Dying God is he who bleeds
In search of knowledge that he needs
For surely it is he who leaves
Upon the table scrolls of reeds.

The Hero’s Journey is complete
In tome and deed the past does meet
Those Heroes from a distant land
With knowledge lost once in defeat

The shape of destiny may be
And time not just a memory
Open eyes in Sunlight and you’ll see
The path of untold victory.
Hold true with those in righteous might
Beware the traitors of the Night
Seek flame upon the path to fight
The Enemy within the Light.

The Sacred Chant
“United Light, Mankind’s Might.
Darkened Flame, Mankind’s Shame.
For the Sake of All, We Cannot Fall
In our darkened hour, we take our power.” ]]>
