Wow, what a week!
I got another account for my business here in Miami, that was great! It is an insurance salesman. I hope he prints a lot! He is a buddy of mine from the cigar shop. BTW, I have been choosing the lanceros lately. The draw on them is very easy. I choose the Connecticut shade wrapper. D&D was almost as good as the cigars.
Our Sunshine Games 3.5 D&D group met again, we had a very good "housekeeping" session. We established the distribution of magic items, which took a surprising amount of effort because there are 12 players. We are currently in Waterdeep and running the old "There is a little red man in the sewers" module. It is a classic tournament adventure from the cons, run by an old con DM. I am reeeeaaaaallly looking forward to this one. I got a surprising amount of interest for my GURPS group from the peeps playing there.
I got the GURPS group off the ground and we are meeting for the first session at my house on Wednesday Oct 7. There is still time to make the maiden session if any of you are interested in joining up. I have RSVP yeses from 7 players, which means that 4 of them will show! That is perfect.
I injured my arm at the gym doing curls. My wife and I have been working out for about 8 weeks now, and I pushed myself a little too hard. Now my left bicep is in constant pain with a moderate muscle-pull. Speaking of injuries.
I saw Zombieland - hilarious. That movie was 50% comedy and 50% schlock zombie. I loved it. The characters had moderately shallow stories that were consistent. This movie actually set rules and followed them, not just in a literary sense, but also in an expositional sense that was absolutely hilarious. It just worked.
I will be adding chapter 3 of Garrick the Generic tomorrow (probably) along with a complete rewrite of chapters 1 and 2 to replace the current versions.
Wow, ok this is turning into a novel....
End of blog!
