The thief, the golden bow, and the pig

So our cleric begs us to go back to town. Begs, begs, begs.
We decide, got nothing better to do (we did, but ahh well), and decided to go back to town. A whole session later, we go to a pig farm, buy a pig, and the cleric announces he is going to train him into a warpig.
With that he slams down this pewter pig mini.
In short, we went through this whole ordeal just so he could make use out of his fancy new mini.
Like I said last time, it was leveling up time. I think I mentioned that training for everyone was mundane, except for the thief.
Our perspective:
We wake up the next morning, and here is our thief with armor for the cleric's war pig, he's got a fancy new sword (his old one was destroyed) and there were some other goodies I can't remember.
We ask him, whoa, what happened. Where did this come from.
{again, I can't remember all details but will convey what I do remember}
So he tells us that he scoped out this fancy mansion. He waited till the noble walked out followed him until they were on a street alone. The noble had a war dog accompanying him. [remember he doesn't have a sword, instead he has a burlap sack full of doorknobs {yes we love the simpsons}] He performs a sneak attack on the dog, gets a natural 20, and kills the dog in one hit. It was touch and go with the noble, but eventually, he was able to knock him unconscious (vs killing him). He stole the war dog's armor, ransacked the noble (who was carrying a load of cash), and got home as soon as he could.
Don't have enough time for what REALLY happened, so until next time.
Side note, we actually believed this story and had no clue what really happened until much later in the game when it didn't have anything to do with what we were currently doing.
