TempleCon Ate My Life... And I Keep Feeding It!

Yeah, it's kind of crazy when you realize that you've been largely off-line for the greater portion of a year, because all of your time is taken up with one thing. Even crazier when you sacrifice the greater portion of your gaming time to that one thing. And the irony is, that one thing is all about gaming...
Welcome to the life of a convention director.
After months of preparation for TempleCon, the steampunk gaming convention that I co-organize, we are nearing the weekend of the big event (February 6th-8th), and suddenly I have a lull in my crazy schedule, thanks to the holidays. So, here I finally am online again.
It's very strange to be going, going, going for so long and then suddenly have things go mostly quiet. True, there are still a few emails that come in each day about the con, but since the majority of events are planned, I actually get to do things like post online for a change, read forums, and hey, maybe even sleep! Novel concept.
Of course, since I'm a bit of a workaholic, and plans for how to make the big party even better never truly stop, I'll still be working away at it right up until the morning of the 6th. But for the moment, I've got a chance to take a breath. And I'm not exactly certain what to do with it...![]()
