Solo Adventures

We interrupt this campaign to quickly jump back to another campaign which involves my mother-in-law (no lie) and my stepson. We're running through the Keep on the Shadowfell experience and I've managed to procure sweet minis for our characters (from usafret on ebay. Great prices!). My goliath looks awesome, my son has his rogue with a crossbow now, and my mother-in-law has her Eladrin druid in 3-D.

We ran through a couple of encounters and got to a point where if I didn't railroad them a bit we'd never make it out of the first level of this place (we started back in January and have had about 4 sessions, half of which took place in the keep)! So with some help from the MIL we were able to convince my son to go toward the dark, dank corridors. They managed to use Tenser's Floating Disc to avoid the evil looking runes on the floor, but now they are stuck between the runes and a mess of zombies with no way to use the disc in time to get everyone back over the runes! Enjoy trying to work that one out over the intervening weeks! MWHAHAHAH!

....and now back to our regularly scheduled solo adventure. I've got the outline of a good River Rats/Thieves Guild quest going, but I'm debating about taking it over several sessions rather than just one. I'll update as I can.
