I am looking for credited writers and artists to help me complete a new medieval frpg. No, I am not a spam bot but an actual human being looking for other talented humans. Please have an example or you works, or a resume, or something I can peruse.

If you are interested please send me a PM or email and I'll give you the full scoop.

The Plane Above: Secrets of the Astral Sea

    Available from Amazon.
The Plane Above: Secrets of the Astral Sea follows close on the heels of The Plane Below, expanding on the upper fundamental plane of the 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons "World Axis" cosmology. It presents a fantastic place where planar adventurers will find floating within an otherwise vast emptiness countless island motes, ancient battlefields, dangerous astral pirates, and the dominions of the gods themselves -- some left shattered following a climactic battle fought eons past between the gods and the primordials known as the "Dawn War." It is an ideal setting for a paragon or epic tier game and will make an excellent change of pace for the party who may have grown tired of the humdrum trappings of typical fantasy settings. This supplement has very little in the way of content meant for players, but for the Dungeon Master looking to run a game set in the planes, it will be an invaluable addition to his gaming library ...

It appears that there may be a trojan slipping through the net being served over Google Ads. Although this site isn't being specifically targeted, some of the infected ads appear to have been displayed here on P&PG. If you have an antivirus program installed, chances are you are protected. If not, you should update your virus software and do a full scan. It seems that the virus that is being sent through these ads is called "mebroot," and any site that is currently serving Google Ads may display an infected ad. As a result, I have temporarily removed Google advertising from this site entirely.

For all other sites, browse safely my friends, and have your virus program installed and up to date.

d20pro pushed out an update today. Version 2.1 is out of beta and available for download.

You know, I recently ran a 4th edition demo game using d20pro. It's actually a pretty sweet little app for running remote games, and even for using as a digital replacement for your battlemat at your regular face-to-face games as well. It was designed specifically for the d20 OGL ruleset and has a set of plugins to integrate nicely with Pathfinder. There are also patches for 4th edition, and the software will even automatically import the D&DI Character Builder files. It still has a ways to go to be able to truly handle 4e well as there are a number of things that you have to either keep track of manually or jury rig to handle the 4e ruleset. Nonetheless, I'd highly recommend checking it out. If you're running a 3.5e / Pathfinder game, this is going to be a perfect fit.

    Check out this video.

    One Geek

    Dear One Geek,

I've tried to write a pretty letter you could publish and answer, but GAH I'm too frustrated to string words together all good an' stuff.

Here's the situation I need help with: I've joined a gaming group with some old friends. I know everyone there except one person, a new roleplayer who's a friend of the gamemaster. She's obnoxious and pushes my buttons. This unfortunately brings out the worst in me, and I'M going to end up being the one who's a jerk ...

    Crime Network: The Old Contry

Dominic Russo is a rat. A deal gone wrong landed his pals in jail-and Russo in the witness protection program. While his buddies got old and angry in the pen, Russo spent five years relaxing on the beach.

But now, his number's come up. Russo's beach is located in Conaca, a small city on the western coast of Sicily. The family he turned his back on knows this - and they've got people they can count on to make sure Russo gets what he deserves.
