1. What's Been Going on at Kevin's Game part 2

My co-DM kevin is running a 3.5 of Savage Tide

The next installment of the Savage Tide had us meet a new player. Sharon returned back to the LA area and was playing a Barbarian/Swahbuckler/Dred Pirate (Don't Ask). She also was one of those human/aquatic races from stormwrack (not technically a legal book in the game but kevin said we simply never asked; go figure...). We ended having to fight a swarm of evil ...

  2. Enter Alcolyte Splurg, newest convert to Oghma!!

It has been an interesting time with this group and this week have had no problems maintaining that. After the epic battle with the ooze, the party decides to take much needed rest. Event coordination is like an extended case of stage fright. Months and months of it, slowly coming to a boil in the weeks and days leading up to the event, until you're there, and all of your skill and experience and preparation take over, so that the fear is replaced by this Zen state of supreme competence and exhaustion. Sarah Bernhardt, the French theatre's equivalent to Napoleon Bonaparte, once said that you are no true actress if ...

  5. The Valley . . . again.

While the group is still new to fourth edition, I am sincerely hoping that those hour long encounters quickly become a thing of the past. That is correct; we had an elite encounter this past Saturday, with the elite goblin being created using the DM toolkit in the DMG.
