  1. Session 16

Due to a schedule problem for the game session hosts, we had another one this past Saturday as opposed to running in two weeks. We find the party about to do battle with 5 Margoyles. They swoop in and attack first as they have surprised the group. The dice started to seem like they were on the DMs side this evening. Each margoyle got 4 attacks as they flew by. out of the five, 2 of them managed to score crits. One was on Bennedict and the result of the Critical Hit card deck was a loss of 4 Dexterity. ...

We pick up with the party at the top of the stairs that they found. Having rested and letting the mages relearn their spells, they are at full strength to descend down to the next level of the caverns. Reaching the bottom of the 900 steps, they find it just as Dunil had told them. There are four directions that they can go. They can go right, left, straight, or diagonally left. The choose the diagonal passage, which brings them to a "Y". They take the left branch, and again come to ...
  3. Session 14

As we ran into some scheduling issues with a couple of funerals that some members unfortunately had to attend, and then not wanting to be tying up the Easter Holiday weekend for people with a game, we slated this past session for the last Saturday, April 18th.

We pick up with the party having defeated the 4 Dao, in a battle that wasn't totally easy, but in the party's favor, they took very little damage. (Once again, the dice seemed to be favoring the party.) As they look around, ...
  4. Session 13

After a couple of weeks where there were just too many schedule conflicts, we finally were able to get the group together for a game session last Saturday. Fezi had a co-worker come along to see how the game is played to see if RPGs are for him. So that he wasn't just sitting there, with some help from Fezi, I let him use the NPC of Astrid for the game session.

Picking up where we last ended, the party decided that before they continued on that it may be good to go back and check on ...

  5. Session 12

As we gathered for the game session, Hockerbrecht once again got to start things off by rolling both a d4 and a d6 for going up a level both as thief and as a mage. At least this time he got more than 1 point to add to his hit points. Etarnon also brought his critical hit card decks along and we decided it would be interesting to use them for both hits and misses (20s and 1s).

After much debate, someone finally asks if the whole party is able to fit inside the boat. (I was begining ...
