Solo Adventures

So here is what I've learned so far;

1.) My stepson is a Slayer with Power Gamer tendencies (not much on the role-playing thing)

2.) Saying he doesn't mind being railroaded through an adventure is like saying "I don't mind if you put that rack of ribs in front of me and force me to eat it."
He actually prefers that I just take care of the incidental stuff like story, plot, character development (his own included), etc....

It has begun. Donn has traveled to the town of Fallcrest to find his father (a simple farmer who comes to town to sell the fruits of his labor). He should have returned home a few days ago, and now Donn's mother is worried something has happened.

Donn hasn't had much luck finding his father, but after a successful skill challenge he learns from some of the other vendors in the Market Green that a fat man who was far richer than any clientele that normally stops by the booths was speaking ...

For those folks who play in a small group and are hard-pressed to find an adventure to fit their size, I will be adding the adventures I'm making for my son to this blog. We will be starting this week in the town of Fallcrest (thank you very much Dungeon Master's Guide), and we will be exploring in and around the area of the Nentir vale going forward. Enjoy!
