Got drunk with a buddy at a beerfest in the small town of Fussen in southern Germany once, right next to the Bavarian Alps. Passed out a by a small lake there at the edge of the mountains where one of Ludwig The Mad's castles was - you know the one they always put in those castle calendars, called Neurenschonstein or something like that. Everytime I go by a calendar store with one of those castle calendars I stop and point out the place there by the lake.

Long ago, at an age when keeping my straight face was much more difficult in certain situations, I had a calc teacher by the name of Mr. Twin, which I'm sure was an anglicized version of his authentic Asian name. But that's how he spelled it.

His first name happened to be Phuc. Despite being a very difficult teacher to understand, Phuc Twin was loved by all. Since we only saw his name written down, it wasn't until much much later when he introduced himself at a parent's meeting, that we realized Phuc was pronounced 'Foo'.

We were bitterly disappointed.

Host (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0170306/): The cereal once known as "Sugar Pops" then as "Corn Pops" has changed its name once again to "Pops". They already took out the sugar. Now they've taken out the corn. What the hell is left? Now I've always been suspicious of this particular cereal. It comes in that foil bag as if we needed extra shielding from some sort of radio active output. Plus it has no mascot. I just don't trust a kids cereal that can't even get a cartoon animal to endorse it.

Takuma Tsurugi: Sonny Chiba (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonny_Chiba), also known as the Japanese Bruce Lee(a compliment to both men, if you ask me).

I loved this guys movies. This is raw, gritty, and dark martial arts at its best. He's not a good guy, he's not really a bad guy, but he does incredibly bad things. Check them all out if and when you get a chance, enjoy watching the legend in action. Not for the squeamish. I watch them all every year in honor of the man, the myth, the scariest martial artist of them all.

If you want to bring your Ultimate Frisbee game to the next level, you need to learn how to properly throw and catch the Frisbee. Its essential to learn how to catch with one hand, because many catches you might only have one hand available. Also with throws, many people will make a throw and it'll curve too far left or right because they throw it too high in the air expecting an arc. Its best to have the majority of the power of your throw come from your wrist and to throw in a direct path to your intended target.

Einstein's general theory of relativity, on its own, predicted that space-time began at the big bang singularity and would come to an end either at the big crunch singularity (if the whole universe recollapsed), or at a singularity inside a black hole (if a local region, such as a star, were to collapse). Any matter that fell into the hole would be destroyed at the singularity, and only the gravitational effect of its mass would continue to be felt outside. On the other hand, when quantum effects were taken into account, it seemed that the mass or energy of the matter would eventually be returned to the rest of the universe, and that the black hole, along with any singularity inside it, would evaporate away and finally disappear. Could quantum mechanics have an equally dramatic effect on the big bang and big crunch singularities? What really happens during the very early or late stages of the universe, when gravitational fields are so strong that quantum effects cannot be ignored? Does the universe in fact have a beginning or an end? And if so, what are they like?

A thin, slightly stooped, sweet old lady with very fine white hair and thick glasses that magnify her sharp eyes. I wouldnt be surprised to learn that the building was erected around her and she was given the duty most in keeping with her location, which happened to be about six inches from the cash register. I have NEVER been to the store and found her missing from her spot, no matter the time of day, always leaning casually on her outdated money eater, wearing a blue apron and orthopedic shoes. She always has a kind word for you, and a slightly sardonic, disparaging one for whomever preceded you in her hallowed cue... which begs the question, what gems are enjoyed by the person behind me? There was a beautiful sleek young boxer (the dog, not a prize fighter) running around outside the grocery store today. One of the clerks said it had been hanging around for about a week. No tags, but wearing a nice collar, and had a very sweet disposition. I came home to get a leash so I could put him up with my dog until I could make some posters and find his owner. As I left the store to do this however, I noticed a guy had approached the dog and I got the definite impression that he was gonna take off with him before I could get back. Which is exactly what happened. This wouldnt bother me if it wasnt for the fact that I got the distinct impression that he was interested in the dog in a proprietary sense, meaning that he was taking the dog to keep as opposed to trying to find the owner. Maybe Im wrong, but the glances he was throwing about were definitely on the furtive side, like "does anyone see me doing this" rather than "does anyone here seem to know this dog". Ah well, what can you do...
