TotalCon is on again! All registered, room is booked. Frank Mentzer, one of the originals at TSR from the early 80's will be there. He's running a bunch of "Classis D+D" games. He's running my first game at the con, actually. Called "Remember when " Description says redscover the joy of rookie characters. I've been told its basic/expert set rules. I'm pretty rusty on those, but if I recall, they're pretty, well, errr, Basic. Elf, dwarf, halfling as classes, not races. Ahhh yes, cannot FREAKIN' WAIT!!!

Anybody else going? It's truly a fantastic convention. Very well run, loads of games. RPGA stuff, 3.5 and 4.0 D+D. Lots of miniatures games. Many other RPG's too. Cthulu, Shadowrun, bunch of others.Tons of board games. They have a couple of Wii's, an XBox or two, a PS3 or three. Lots of stuff for young players, if you have kids. Nice hotel too.

I highly recomend this con for anybody in New England.

I know the colors of the various boxes changed as the game did. I started playing when it was red. Regardless, looks like I'm going to be playing an adventure DM'd by a guy who worked with Gygax and Arneson in D+D's early years. Lookingforward to it.
