It might be a bit of a surprise but guys of Evil Hat Productions and Blue Devil Games started a venture called One Bad Egg (http://www.onebadegg.com) publishing material for D&D 4th Edition.

Ooh! The egg has finally hatched! I been wondering for the longest exactly what they were up to! If it's got Evil Hat all over it, then the quality will be there. Very interesting...if only I was playing 4e...

Honestly, I was kinda hoping One Bad Egg was going to be more stuff to support FATE/SotC. Bummer. Oh well...

Looks interesting. I've been waiting to see what folks will do in terms of non WotC support for the edition.

For as long as I have been gaming I have never heard of One Bad Egg. What is the quality of the products they produce?

That is probably because it is a brand new joint venture by Evil Hat Productions and Blue Devil Games.

I can't vouch for Blue Devil as I have never seen any of their products, but I do know that Evil Hat puts very high quality into their work. Not necessarily in the "ooh, pretty colors" way but the "wow, this is really well written" way.

Never heard of them either, but I like the philosophy on the opening page- they seem to recognize that their products need to do more than just bloat D&D up...

On an unrelated tangent, Google needs to work on their targeted ads. This is just wrong:

All this sounds good. Cant wait to see the product and judge for myself.

That's a Google ad? Wow, that is just wrong.

I don't like the connection; one of those eggs are apparently BAD.

For some this may be offensive, but for some this ad will open the world up for them.

The wrong part is Google targeting ads purely based on keywords, and not trying to match content with content (I'm sure that the clinic in question would be more interested in having their ads on family planning sites, rather than gaming sites, for instance). Kinda why I always have ads from Hormel on my spam folder page in Google Mail...
