Does anyone know if Wizards (or anyone else) has created epic levels for the warpriest? I have a potential new player who wants to play one, as he's starting at 21st level, he could qualify for 11th level of warpriest. Thanks! :)

I always extrapolated from that data i already had(class on paper), if ever you cant find it anywhere else.

You might try looking here: http://www.d20srd.org/

Best of luck to you,

Wow, I forgot about this spell. Lets see if the dice roller can handle it without snapping.

epic stuff is fun. ^^

there are rules for extrapolating from the existing class, and what can be continued into an epic progression, and what cannot, in the epic level handbook. some of the web enhancements are helpful too.

Thanks everyone. I can extrapolate if need be, but it's more convenient if someone has done it already. There's no mention of the warpriest in the SRD, so I might have to end up doing it myself.

After looking over the class, http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/mp/mp20010413d, I noticed that all of his abilities are affected by his level. Either they are cast so many times per day per level or lasts one/five minute(s) plus one minute per warpriest level. So already you have some very powerful abilties. I would say stick with the standard bonus feats and other stuff for epic.

well, the rules are pretty explicit and straightforward. (for once... ;D )

Yes, I've created epic levels for many of my own prestige classes.

it is nice if one doesn't have to do the work, however. ^^ quite agree.

funny that we'll search high and low to see if someone else has done the work, sometimes taking more the 5 times what it would have taken do just come up with it ourselves. =D but i'm repeatedly guilty of it.

Back in the 1990s, when I lived in Denver and the price of oil went kaput (fell to $8/barrel) and I was unemployed, I used to go to a game arcade some afternoons and play their Star Wars X-Wing game. I don't know if it's still around 20+ years later. It was one of those games where you actually sat down in a little sort of cockpit to use the controls. You basically played Luke in the X-Wing going after the Death Star from the first Star Wars movie (A New Hope). It featured the soundtrack and sound effects from the movie. It was awesome. It even had the voices of the actors saying things like, "R2! Can you lock that down?!" and "Trust the Force, Luke." Did I mention that it was awesome? It was a very bright spot in an otherwise pretty dark place in my life. :)

I loved that game. Here is it on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ATARI-STAR-WARS-FULL-SIZE-VIDEO-GAME-CHECK-IT-OUT_W0QQitemZ220277149328QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item2 20277149328&_trkparms=72%3A635%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A1%7C65%3A12%7C2 40%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Just be sure to invite me over next time in the area. I was pretty good with that game, as well as Donkey Kong, and Dragon's Lair.

Cool! I'd play it for wave after wave, and at the end I'd be sweaty and exhausted as Obi-wan said, "Remember, the Force Will Always Be With You." :)

Thanks for the link! Alas it's a stand up version instead of the sit down version, and I'm not sure if it's even the exact same game, but I put in on my eBay watch list anyway. :)

I recall Donkey Kong but never played it. I'm not sure if I recall Dragon's Lair or not. I was also a big fan of Battle Zone, the tank game the US Army bought to train M-1 Abrams crews.

Edit: When I saw the picture of the game, I actually looked around the room to see if I had a place where it might fit.

I see the sit-down version of Star Wars on Ebay from time to time. I believe it's the same game. Just got to keep an eye out for it, ...and who's never heard of Dirk the Daring? Here's some videos that came up on a google search, apparently a hard-core fan:

Wow! That fellow has a crowded MySpace page! I don't see a photo of the game there. Of the three videos, two say "no longer available when I try to play them, and one appears to depict a fighter fighting a giant to save a maiden.

That IS the game. It's like a cartoon where you control Dirks actions per encounter, the right decision, he moves on, the wrong one, and he's dead. That's what made it so cool for its time.

They have them on DVD so you can play them either on your computer or through your DVD player playing through your tv. In fact, they sell a 3-pack: Dragons Lair I & II, and Space Ace. All very cool.

i think that back in the day when i was playing, had i ever even gotten to the princess, i would have been watching her and not the game and would have promptly died. i really suspect that evil bad guys force captured princesses to dress like that simply for the distraction value against the hero. ^^*
