View Full Version : CA - Santa Ana - Rise of the Runelords

Hello All, Iím looking for 5-6 committed players looking to try out the new Pathfinder RPG System. Currently the playerís handbook for 3.75 is available for download from the Pathfinder website for free. Itís in Alpha3 beta test, but is done very well. The Beta version of the PHB will be released late next month. Iím very interested in seeing out the new changes to 3.5 works out.

My current plan is to run the Pathfinder ďRise of the RunelordsĒ campaign in its entirety. We will be making changes to the rules as Piazo makes changes to their PHB. I really want to see how 3.75 will work out; it looks really good for those people that like 3.5

The game will be run at my home in Santa Ana, probably on Saturday or Sunday. I like to run either weekly (3-4 hrs) or bi-weekly (6-8 hr) sessions. I need players that will be committed to coming weekly, showing up on time and looking to have some fun.

I will be limiting the character creation to the races and classes in the new PHB since they are based on the 3.75 rules from Piazo, but Piazo says that 3.75 is completely backwards compatible which means we should be able to introduce more and more splat books to the campaign as we move forward.

Due to the nature of the campaign all players will have to start the campaign with a good/neutral alignment. Iím also looking for players that havenít already ran though this campaign, although I will be making quiet a few alterations to the story line and sub plots.

Iím looking for mature players that can be responsible for getting to the game, being on time and working together as a team. Iím going to ask that every that wants to join be at least 18, or if you are playing with a family member that would be ok.

If you are interested in playing please send me an email to my yahoo account (JeffBCosby@Yahoo.Com (JeffBCosby@Yahoo.Com)). Since everyone is going to be new I will be treating it as a first come first serve. Also if you are interested please take the time to download the FREE playerís handbook and the players guide to their world and do some reading before the game. Also please think about what you want to play, if you want feel free to send me either a completed character or at least a rough outline of what you would consider playing. The players will all be from the general area of Sandpoint or if you create a good background and reason for being in Sandpoint you can be from one of the other areas. The players guide will give you good information on this.

Below I will post links to the Pathfinder RPG site and the free downloads. Once the team is put together I will be creating a Yahoo group dedicated to the campaign for us to communicate in.

Well, I have a couple of openings for my Pathfinder game. We have had to let a couple of players go because of attendance and I'd like to fill those spots.

The party is currently 2nd level and about 40% through the first adventure path. We currently have a Fighter, Wizard, Rogue and Cleric which leaves the last two spots completely open.

Shoot me an email if you would be interested and willing to make a committment to attending the game on a regular basis.
