Partha Mainly. Reaper has done a nice job of filling the shoes if you will.

I visited the Ral Partha factory back in 1995. I was passing through Cincinnati and asked if I could drop it. They said fine. They even dug up old molds and ran figures for me. I ended up buying something like 300 bucks worth of minis. They made me fifty examples of a figure only found in a set and stuff like that.

man, you just made me jealous...

back in the early 80's i used to make my dad drive me to morris, ny (linton's ltd.) or ithaca (quest's end) whenever ral partha released new minis. the town i grew up in had a couple book stores that carried rule books and modules, but no one carried minis or paints, so i had to road trip it...

Life in the big city does have advantages. Life in a city that is a nexus of colleges is even better. We have always had a couple of hobby shops in the area that deal in minis and gaming supplies.
