Fellow Gamers,

I've been playing since the 70's, I'm 41, and have played all types of rpgs in that time including: DnD, Warhammer(WFRP), GammaWorld, Top Secret, Star Frontiers, Twilight 2000, etc etc, ad nauseum.

In my spare time i write books, modules/games, and do my own Warhammer(wfrp) artwork. My work is fan-based and is therefore wholly unofficial. Even though i love WFRP, i rarely can find others playing that particular system. Therefore, i play DnD every Saturday, and love every minute of it.

Currently, my group and I play in Loma Linda, CA., and are always looking for more players. We have 3 campaigns ongoing at this time, all DnD. When 4.0 is released, 1 campaign will remain 3.5, the 2nd will go updated 3.5(see www.paizo.com (http://www.paizo.com)), and the 3rd will go 4.0 rules.

I realize that gamer types can range widely and i'm sure we all have stories of some whack-o's, therefore you are welcome to try us on for a one-session shot before committing. We have few expectations other than reliability, and they are: no kids, no drugs, no observers, and being able to restrain oneself to not use our game day as a forum to push your particular brand of religion or politics.

Hope to hear from you.

Game on!

Nice, welcome to P&PG! Kinda wish I was in Cali... then again, I'm heading to Frisco in June for a well deserved vacation. :D

Welcome a'board, Thoth. You may also want to post each of your campaigns that have openings in the Campaign Invitations (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) section with a little more detail. Books you say, though? Any published (online or otherwise) that we could read?

I have many stories of such wackos in my 30 years of gaming.

Welcome aboard!
For finding players the Player Registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/memberlist.php) is a terrific tool and for recruiting players as a DM the Campaign Invitations (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) forum is perfect. Feel free to join in the discussions. I wish you the best of luck in your search!

Hello and welcome. What type of books have you wrote? Curious as to if there would be anything that I might be interested in reading. Good gaming.

Welcome Toth. I went ahead and checked out that site, and downloaded the free preview of your game. And i have to say i was pleasantly suprised and impressed. From the list of gods, the racial formats (dwarf being my favorite), the artwork style is a definet plus there. I happen to love what you did with the wizards, i am very fond of magic users. The use of school powers is awesome, puts them on par with clerics now. I like the new skill selection you have there.

My Big Question will be, when you do come out with these books. Will it be necessary to own D&D 3.5, or can i rely on your books to provide all the core rules with out needing to buy many others? My big thing is, having to buy a whole bunch of books. I got out of DnD for that exact reason, and in general i think DnD has strayed away from its general routes as a RPG and gone for the pizzaz and flash of such settings as Eberron.

Cool, another of the younger elders approaches. I'll have to have a look at your stuff we can compare notes. I have been tweaking the game since I got my hands on it. I'm a D&D specialist. As I said in a previous post, the country is too big.
