Hello out there I live in Irving Tx. and cant get out. Ive played AD&D since it started. Got to Religious for the game and sold all my stuff after my kids started growing up we started playing again. Now there grown and gone and I'm having AD&D withdrawl. Need to play badly.. But now I have slight preferences that need to be meet.. No smoking would be great and want to meet players that want to play not horse around.. My last character was a Gnome Th/Ill that added every major encounter to his name and love to collect anything and even knew how to juggle just incase he was captured by Orcs. I also like to play Battletech but AD&D is the Root of my Disease...............

Silencer needs game badly! Elf needs food badly!

I understand wanting your needs met. When I was younger; I could play anywhere, anytime, with anyone, in any system, for any reason. As I get older, I am far more picky due to the constraints of time and family. I am probably more set in my ways and tastes.

Welcome aboard!
For finding players the Player Registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/memberlist.php) is a terrific tool and for recruiting players as a DM the Campaign Invitations (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) forum is perfect. Feel free to join in the discussions. I wish you the best of luck in your search!

Hello and welcome. Like stated above, be sure to use the players registry and campaign invitations to find a game. I wasn't sure, but it sounded like you are trying to find a group that plays using AD&D (or what is now commonly called 2E). There are still people out there that still use 2E, but you will probably find that most groups are using 3.5. Also be aware that 4E is coming out later this year. Good luck in your game search.
