I am looking to start a new D&D 3rd Ed group. I have 2 possible players and I am looking for more. My campaigns are all long term typically lasting though 5 or more game sessions. At present I am planing to have game sessions on Sundays at my house in Everett, but this is can change to accommodate all players. I run my campaigns on a game world of my own creation. World specific materials will be provided. I am looking to build a group with about 4-6 players for the gaming party.

5 sessions? That's a short game. I've had games run five years with the same PCs.

Welcome to the board and have fun!

Hello and welcome. Be sure to list your game on the Campaign Invitations. Good luck on your player search.

Welcome aboard!
Five sessions seems very short to me as well. 5 years would be impressive, as my longest campaign ended before it hit 4 years.
For finding players the Player Registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/memberlist.php) is a terrific tool and for recruiting players as a DM the Campaign Invitations (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) forum is perfect. Feel free to join in the discussions. I wish you the best of luck in your search!

We are a long term group, And I do mean long term. I have been near twenty years now with the core of my gaming group.

I've never been in a campaign that has lasted more than about 5 sessions. I find it hard to maintain steam after a few. It would help if I knew more gamers who wanted the same thing I do, but as it is my friends and I compromise a little and can't seem to sustain the enthusiasm. I dream about running 6-month long campaigns but I just can't find the players who can commit, and I don't blame them. Life is unpredictable and gets in the way often.
