I generally use the nick "Headmaster" because the majority of gaming I do is actually through my PBEM simulation for an XMen story.

I'm a (nearly) 40 y/o gamer who's been at it since I was 11 and I've had a break from gaming for awhile. I'm looking for mature people, over 18, who can get into characterization and gaming and who like to do some RPing as well as some @$$-kicking.

I play and have played a variety of games and so I'm flexible but I'm picky too. If it doesn't make sense or its clumsy, I'll tell you. I'm outspoken like that and if you're not a confident GM and open-minded, I'm a nightmare walking for you.

Likewise, I don't run a game unless it makes sense, is well-planned and ready to go. It's got the be logical, even if its a huge mystery and is confusing in the beginning (I love to make uber-far reaching plots and run campaigns that last years).

As a unpublished writer, it pains me to see shoddy work and so I never wants to be accused of it myself.

At the moment i have three concepts in place for play. Hit me if you're interested.

I have two players already but we're looking for some fresh blood to get things rolling. Gaming would have to be on the weekend, once or twice a month.

(1)
Eberron, "Holding the Border". In the kingdom of Valenar, against the Mistwall, weird things constantly come through to plague the lands beyond. The High King has sought brave soul who would be willing to patrol that border, to perhaps even entrench themselves and to form a foothold against the horrors that creeps from there and for which, to be rewarded with a Land-Right.

But one must take it to have it and keep it to claim it.

Characters will construct at 32 points and be 8th level with up to +4 ECL for species picks.

(2)
I have a non-D20/DD idea using a concept developed in a pbem-simulation I run at www.spartan-fleet.com for the Marvel Universe/Xmen. The sim pages for Xmen: Awakening pretty much describes the entire concept, the rules will be the expanded rules found at http://classicmarvel.com .

(3)
"In the Demon's Teeth" is a campaign set in Damarra, Faerun. The characters are all 32-point, 3rd level to start. The game takes places as so many old-style campaigns did with the hiring of caravan guards in the form of the party to escort a caravan through semi-dangerous territory from Trailsend to Palischuk in Vaasa. It is a long grueling journey with a promise of 100 gold each for each leg of the journey with food and water provided for. Medical aid is also promised though, in what form, is unknown.

If anybody is interested in any of the above concepts, please contact me and we'll put it together.

Thanks

Welcome to the madhouse. The first thing you will want to do is fill out the Player Registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/memberlist.php). That is the key to the golden door. This fourm has great search fuctions.

After that, come and talk with us. I am another old gamer, but I have never taken a break from it. 32 years of playing at the table and still enjoying every minute.

Hello and welcome aboard. If you have a game ready to go, post it in the campaign invitation section. Good luck in your search.
