I just want to say hello and let everyone know that for the little time I get to chat, I love every minute of it.

So after browsing some of the other Introductions, I feel maybe mine was a bit abrupt. Normally not too wordy me makes things short ant to the point, but sometimes that leads to confusing situations. Anyhow, I am from the lower part of the mitten (michigan), and was looking for other players in my area to either join, or start a group. The wizards website led me here, but I am pretty open to other options than just D&D. I felt it was time to dust off some of the books that I bought in college a few years ago, and maybe even bring a character or two out of stasis. I was first introduced to D&D in 8th grade, as a project actually giving me a grade. teach a fellow classmate something new, give oral and written report. didn't play much table top after that until college where I got to play for 6 years on and off with varying gm's and crew members. Since then, every one graduated and moved away, so I have been stranded for about 2 years. I am already looking at the player registry to see other players in my area. wish me luck.

We are starting to get a good many Michigan gamers. I'm a Dearbornite myself. Might be time to ask the Farcaster for a Michigan meetup fourm.
