Hey, been looking for a group. Right now I play saturday evenings with a group but wouldn't mind getting started in another game, especially gurps since I've never played them before.

my email is the_dismal_scientist@yahoo.com, hope to hear from you soon

Old AD&D player... Don't know anything about GURP, but it sounds very good based on what I read on the net... What are your playing days and times again? Contact me at <nospam>tintellaar@yahoo.com

I was intersted in GURPS Fantasy a while ago but lost interest for a couple reasons. First was my group wasn't interested in a fantasy game, we played Superheroes, Space and Steampunk type games. The second was a more important reason, the GURPS Fantasy Bestiary was out of print. I looked for it for a couple years before I gave up. That told me right there that they weren't really interested in supporting a Fantasy campaign.

Sounds like you are still playing GURPS 3rd Edition. The rest of us down here are playing GURPS 4th Edition, which came out about four years ago.

As far as you giving up, you didn't try very hard, since Steve Jackson Games has most of it's 3rd Edition titles available through their "Warehouse 23", or in PDF format through "E23". Then there is the whole E-bay thing, and if you do a little checking, you can get alot of 3rd Edition titles very cheap. That's where I sold most of mine, except that I still have my copy of GURPS Fantasy Bestiary.

Steve Jackson Games also sells alot of new stuff in PDF format through their website. You should check out their "Creatures of the Night" series. Each one is for 4th Edition, and includes about eight to ten new monsters each time, complete with the background and options for dropping them into any campaign. All you need to have is a computer with Adobe Acrobat Reader, and pay them a couple of bucks, and you can download to your hearts content.

Check out there website at: www.sjgames.com (http://www.sjgames.com) and use the links to get to their products, and then into the browse feature of "Warehouse 23", and also "E23", if you want to see the list of PDF's available.

Hope this helps you get caught up with the 21st century. :)

Actually, it was 2nd Edition, and thank you yes, I found their website but they weren't selling PDF's at that point. I haven't really looked at it since then.

Hi I recently purchased the core books for 4e Gurps and find it actually quite daunting to start teaching to others who have spent most of the rpg lives playing WoW. I myself have just a bare understanding the game mechanics myself and sadly no one here plays it so its not a simple sit in on a game or 2 and picks things up. Any suggestions?

We are looking for more people interested in face to face GURPS gaming.

We have had the "flaky" players bail on us enough times, that it is unlikely they'll return, as we're tired of trying to call them. We are ready to move on with our "core" of players, but could desperately use one, or two more. If you're not a "flake", and want to play GURPS, then drop me a line.

We have two fantasy campaigns, and one Traveller "post" Interstellar Wars campaign. These are run by the different GM's in our group, and we switch off when one of the GM's needs a break, or just wants to play again. We generally meet on Saturday night, but occasionally switch to Friday night, when scheduling conflicts arise.

Still Looking for GURPS players.

Heck, if you're a GURPS GM, and want players, let us know. We can play in any setting, and amongst the group, we have nearly every book, or at least the PDF equivalent.

I'm interested in joining, I don't have much experience with GURPS though. I may be able to get my girlfriend to join to. I am in the Navy and do spend a lot of time at sea though, so I may not always be able to game.
