Howdy All Y'all,

I've recently moved to Mississippi (suburb of Memphis), and am game for a game. It's been three years since I've been part of a group that managed to play on a regular basis, and I miss that.

I've played D&D and other RPGs for 30 years now, and enjoy playing with a mature group of folks who are at least as interested in the game as they are in shooting the bull. I prefer a game in which cooperation is emphasized over competition.

I'd be up for a weekly game on a weekday evening if I didn't have to drive more than 10-15 miles. Otherwise, a weekend game every 3-4 weeks is probably the best I'll be able to do. I'd be glad to host games at my house in Hernando if that's of interest.

Looking forward to getting to know y'all.

Mike

Welcome to the community! For finding players the Player Registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/memberlist.php) is an invaluable tool and for recruiting players as a DM the Campaign Invitations (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) forum is perfect. Please join us in on any of the various topics being discussed in the forums. For best results taking the initiative to contact players in your area should greatly increase your chances of finding others to game with. Many players are in groups that have openings but since they aren't the GM they don't go out of their way to recruit new players for the game. I wish you the best of luck in finding gaming bliss in the near future.
