Salutations,
I'm Ruel Knudson, project developer and co-founder of Ironwood Omnimedia, and designer of the E-RPG system. I'm here basically to add to my collection and growing list of online communities in which to find players, tester, drop news, and a little tiny-incy-wincy bit of shameless promotion (all within the proper context of applicable rules and regulations once I get through all of that bit).
Anyways, I'll begin looking about and such.

Hello and welcome. I have never played online with a group of people, but I have played games on my computer. I liked the ones that had you using a group of characters together as opposed to ones that only gave you one character to use. I'm sure there are a lot of people here that can give you alot of feedback on the products you are into. Check the boards for discussions on a variety of different items.

Welcome aboard. This is a great place to find and connect with gamers.
So, tell us more of the E-rpg system. Is that software or what?

Welcome to the community! For finding players the Player Registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/memberlist.php) is an invaluable tool and for recruiting players as a DM the Campaign Invitations (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) forum is perfect. Please join us in on any of the various topics being discussed in the forums. For best results taking the initiative to contact players in your area should greatly increase your chances of finding others to game with. Many players are in groups that have openings but since they aren't the GM they don't go out of their way to recruit new players for the game. I wish you the best of luck in finding gaming bliss in the near future.

Thank you all for the welcomes.
So, tell us more of the E-rpg system. Is that software or what?
There is software being developed for it, but it is not focused on that aspect. Currently it only exists in its PnP incarnation.
The system itself is an everything (or epic, or any other word that starts with an E that could apply ;)) system. Its a step die attribute resolution system you add skill levels too. It uses a purchase point system for advancement (no classes or alignments unless you want to add them in). We have released the Fantasy Sagas (demo here (http://ironwoodnexus.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=221)) and supporting product for that over the course of 2006-2007. This year we released a demo of the Modern Sagas (demo here (http://ironwoodnexus.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=316)) and are continuing with development for both lines. Both are 100% compatable with eachother (only 1 GM book (http://ironwoodnexus.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=222) works for both).
Anyways, that's the general idea. I won't take up any more space on that.
Thanks again for the welcome, and I will be looking through the registry stuff today and tomorrow.
Happy Gaming!
